Muhammad Nur Syazwan Bin Zainal Abidin, 25
Syazwan is from Ipoh, Perak, and is a Law graduate from the University of Warwick, England. During his final year at Warwick, he became a columnist for The Malaysian Insider, in which he commented on issues such as culture, religion and social issues. He currently works as an executive in a bank in Kuala Lumpur.
What made you interested in joining the National Unity Youth Fellowship?
“I believe wholeheartedly in the Gandhian quote “Be the change you wish to see in the world”. This belief propelled me to join the National Unity Youth Fellowship.”
What do you hope to learn or achieve from your experience with the Fellowship?
“Through the Fellowship, I hope to initiate a positive change in Malaysia.”
