Tarmizi Anuwar, 26
Tarmizi is from Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. He graduated from Universiti Putra Malaysia with a Bachelor of Education (Physical Education), and is currently the Project Coordinator at Suara Rakyat Malaysia (SUARAM), a leading Malaysian human rights organisation.
What made you interested in joining the National Unity Youth Fellowship?
“I would like to learn about ways in which we can create unity from diversity in Malaysia, without using any form of coercion.”
What do you hope to learn or achieve from your experience with the Fellowship?
“I want to know more about and better understand people from different races and religions, and bring their voices to our society.”
